The vacancy
What you will do
As a Tracking Specialist, you make sure our e-commerce clients can trust their data. You are responsible for setting up, managing and optimising tracking and data structures. Your work turns marketing goals into reliable data flows and makes every click measurable, from click to revenue.
You will do this together with our dedicated tracking team, where data and marketing come together. You will work with e-commerce brands such as Karhu, Ter Horst Van Geel and Toolsvoordelig, whose webshops run on Shopify, Magento and Shopware.
Your mission is to make data accurate, actionable and insightful. You will do this by::
- Implementing tracking solutions in Google Tag Manager and server side containers
- Conducting tracking audits and improving existing setups
- Validating data in Google Analytics 4 and BigQuery to ensure reliable reporting
- Collaborating with our SEA, SEO and social specialists to align tracking with campaigns and dashboards
- Advising clients on privacy, consent and data quality in an international context
What you bring
You are someone who brings structure to complex data, pays attention to detail and easily moves between technical and marketing perspectives. You also have:
- Experience with complex Google Tag Manager implementations
- Solid knowledge of GA4 and data layers, and preferably server side tracking and BigQuery
- Technical understanding of how browser and server data interact, and the ability to communicate effectively with developers
- Familiarity with Shopify, Magento, Shopware or similar e-commerce platforms
- Experience working at a marketing agency or within an e-commerce environment
- Fluency in English (Dutch is not required)
- An analytical mindset, a proactive attitude and a genuine curiosity for new technologies
